GODAN Executive Director Andre Laperriere attended the Agrifood, Trade and Investment Summit in Nairobi, Kenya from 21-22 May, 2019. Mr Laperriere gave a keynote speech on making reliable agriculture-related information available to farmers, researchers and policymakers across the African Continent.

The AFTI East Africa Summit attracts over 450 high level delegates annually, with a wide variety of expert speakers discussing the emerging technologies poised to revolutionise day-to-day food production, and how to capitalise on these technologies to improve the evolving East African agri-food sector.
