Operations Director Samuel Compton represented GODAN at the Geospatial World Forum near Amsterdam on 2-4 April 2019, where he gave a talk on agriultural open data policy and its impact on - in particular - small scale farming, and presented GODAN's work in the field.
The Geospatial World Forum is an annual gathering of geospatial professionals and leaders representing the entire geospatial ecosystem. Policy makers, national mapping agencies, private sector enterprises, multilateral and development organisations, scientific and academic institutions, and above all end users from government, businesses, and citizen services meet to discuss vision and ideas for the geospatial community. The Forum has become a key platform for the geospatial community to learn, share, connect, and network with stakeholders accross the industry.
