The Global Forum, whose theme this year is Shaping the Future, is an internationally recognised platform for exchange and networking among governments at national, regional and local levels, for private and public organisations, and research and development experts.
The 28th edition of the Forum is organised in conjunction with International Conference for Multi-Area Simulation (ICMAS), a new event supported by the Global Forum and Items International, focusing on simulation. Simulation is gaining increasing importance as a means to improve knowledge and develop technical and behavioral skills in a secure environment.
The Forum is an high profile, independent, not-for-profit event dedicated to business and policy issues affecting the successful evolution of the Digital Society. The Event, held in a different city each year, convenes over 300 key policy-makers and public/private stakeholders from more than 30 countries accross every continent, it has been called the Davos of the ICT world.
GODAN Executive Director Andre Laperriere will be attending this years event as a keynote speaker.
