The GODAN Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Open Data Data Management in Agriculture and Nutrition is now available in French, thanks to the generous efforts of GODAN Partner, the African Francophone community for open data, CAFDO.

The MOOC is a comprehensive introduction to open data and its applications for agriculture and nutrition.

Women make up a significant part of the agricultural labour force in Sub-Saharan Africa, playing important roles, and undertaking a wide range of activities relating to food production, processing and marketing.

This blog is based on interventions from the recently held popular GODAN Webinar on “Empowering Women for Open Data Mapping in Agriculture: Implications for Land Rights and the SDGs in Africa.”

Launched 20 May, 2020, this newly created online toolkit provides the conceptual basis for general, scalable guidelines for everyone dealing with the production, ownership, sharing and use of data in agriculture.
