The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) champions global collaboration for improved application of Earth observations for the benefit of humankind.  GEO is a partnership of more than 100 national governments and in excess of 100 Participating Organizations that envisions a future where decisions and actions for the benefit of humankind are informed by coordinated, comprehensive and sustained Earth observations.

In 2018, GODAN joined the Program Board of GEO. On behalf of the Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition (GODAN) , Suchith Anand  participated in the 10th GEO Program Board meetings at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) headquarters in Geneva on 5th-6th September 2018. GODAN is looking forward to keep expanding our collaborations and synergies with the GEO.
