Introducing GODAN Action

The fourth GODAN Capacity Development Working Group Webinar introduces the GODAN Action programme. GODAN Action was a programme launched by the UK’s Department of International Development (DfID). It brought together agriculture and nutrition specialists and open data experts to support the work of the GODAN Secretariat by building capacity to engage with open data within the population.

During the Webinar the speakers outline the three GODAN Action focal areas, which you can find out more about on the Web site: data standards and best practices (Standards), research for impact evaluation (Tools and Research) and building capacity among open data users (Capacity). In addition, an overview is given of the three thematic areas of work: Weather data, Land data and Nutrition data.
