GODAN Call for Partners to Support its Mission
The global coronavirus pandemic is creating growing concern as it negatively impacts food supply chains in developing countries. Most governments are now aware of their countries’ weaknesses in planning efficient food distribution and providing nutrition to vulnerable populations. But GODAN is stepping up, and we need your help in funding crucial work that will reduce food waste and end world hunger.
GODAN’s Executive Director, Andre Laperriere, recently sent a letter to all partners announcing a new donation facility on the GODAN Web site. In the letter he reported that GODAN needs to raise one million dollars by the end of December and has invited contributions from partners.
GODAN has new projects in the pipeline for 2021 but its present practical work is in jeopardy due to an unforeseen reduction in its usual sources of donor funding. That is why GODAN is asking its partners to help – making a donation now will keep GODAN operational during the fall and winter of 2020.
Donating has been made easy by visiting the homepage of our Web site (www.godan.info). You can make a secure personal or institutional contribution on-line. We thank you for your continuing support and appreciate any assistance you can offer GODAN during these challenging times.
